In Memoriam

We represent those in our community who believe that we should care for the families of public servants who make the ultimate sacrifice to protect and preserve our families and property. Our purpose is to remove debt from the surviving family and, in some cases, provide assistance for their children's education.

The 100 Club of the Shoals accomplishes its task with members who donate $100 per year in dues. There are NO paid staff, NO paid or professional fundraisers, solicits its members entirely through volunteers, and limits its administrative costs to a small amount of printing, postage, and website hosting.

Sargent Nick Risner

"To lose an officer in the line of duty is a tragedy, and there are simply not enough words to express how saddened we are," Police Chief Ricky Terry said."Sgt. Risner died a hero, and his legacy and memory will be with the Sheffield Police Department and the Sheffield community forever."
